What is your connection to the Cancer Community?
The truth is cancer affects everyone.
It is a sad truth, but it is reality. I lost my grandfather to esophageal cancer when I was a young girl. Since then I have seen so many lives and families be changed by the disease.
I believe that is my turn to stand up and make a difference. By joining this team I am uniting with others who feel the same and embarking on a journey of a lifetime to change this. I am hoping to make a difference and inspire others to do the same along the way.
Why are you traveling over 4000 miles this summer with the 4K?
Traveling 4,000 miles across the nation this summer is going to be an incredible challenge, but it is nothing compared to the challenge that many face battling cancer. We are all going to be tested, both physically and mentally throughout the entire journey. We will all work together to not only make it across but change some lives while we do it.
