Meet Catherine Cardinal

Catherine Cardinal

Catherine is a student at Niagara University.  In the summer of 2013 she is riding with a group of college-aged students on a 70 day, 4000+ mile bike ride from Baltimore to Seattle, WA.

What is your connection with the cancer community?:
My grandmother is a survivor of breast cancer. My mother has been struggling over the last few years with issues associated with cancer. My best friend is a survivor of Leukemia.

Why are you riding the 4K for Cancer?:

I want to be a part of helping raise awareness for cancer. I want to help people and i believe this experience is a great way to do so. Cancer affects everyone is some way. This trip is one that i will be putting my whole body, mind and soul into and it will not be easy, but neither is fighting cancer. I will keep this in mind and use it as my motivation to keep moving
forward in the journey!
