2011 Baltimore to Portland

2011 marks our 10th year of cycling across the country in the fight against cancer and the launch of our inaugural Baltimore to Portland ride.  This 70 day, 4000 mile ride follows the traditional leg one route of our San Francisco ride.  After leaving Baltimore’s Inner Harbor we head north to southern Pennsylvania where we strike west through Cleveland, Dayton and Cincinnati, OH.  The ride continues through the midwest and Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska before landing in Boulder, CO where we meet up with our San Francisco route.  From Boulder, the route takes a distinctive northern turn into Wyoming and Montana before turning west again through Idaho and into Oregon.

Route highlights include cycling through Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks where we visit with the 4K Baltimore to Seattle route.
